This inaugural Summit provides the latest updates on new opportunities in the 4G evolution in the Asia Pacific region, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Central Asia, North America &  Europe.

Korea, which is at the forefront of the 4G LTE evolution, smartphone innovation, new M2M applications, with 3 LTE rollouts this year, and with the world's highest concentration of smartphone users, is the supremely suitable strategic platform for this Summit!

How would the growing 4G ecosystem be like? Mobile phones, computer and consumer electronic devices including netbooks, iPads, UMPCs, gaming devices, cameras, PMPs will have embedded 4G connectivity. A huge growth in M2M applications enabled by LTE is forecast.  To support this 4G evolution, mobile devices are undergoing radical transformation.   Device Manufacturers have many challenges right now supporting many features and frequency bands – and deciding what exactly to support.  Users' expectations are set for the new mobile devices to operate like a personal computer, running multiple applications simultaneously. Using new platform level technologies such as multicore processors and Android can help meet the new design goals.  A key question is which LTE frequency band combinations to support as the main priority.  Phone manufacturers too must tackle the question about battery life in a video-rich world & migration to VoLTE..

This two-day event will be the unique, global marketplace for smartphone vendors, apps developers, telecom regulators and operators, chip designers, technology enablers, devices manufacturers, system integrators to strategise new 4G business plans, leapfrog to another competitive plane in the telecom network evolution.
