This three-day course introduces the emerging 3G standard TD-SCDMA on an application developer’s perspective. TD-SCDMA is an ITU and 3GPP approved international standard will be launched in China.
Since 2004, a series of testing, including MTNet, commercialization test and field test, were carried out with excellent results. Large scale deployment of TD-SCDMA will be very soon.
The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the technical development, basic principles and service capability, and a solid foundation for application and service development.
Also, the student will understand the working principle, application and service capability supported by TD-SCDMA handset, and tools and method for application development on TD-SCDMA handsets.
Finally, the students will understand the method of connection and interface requirement between the core network and the application servers, and upload the developed application to the TD-SCDMA system.
